EU doesn’t expect 6th package of anti-Russian sanctions in 2 days

BRUSSELS, May 30 (PRIME) -- The E.U. will finally agree on the 6th package of anti-Russian sanctions, but not in the next 48 hours, head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday.

Head of the E.U. diplomacy Josep Borrell earlier said that the package will unlink new Russian banks from the international interbank settlement system SWIFT, impose additional sanctions for disinformation and limit oil imports.

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that there is no agreement on the E.U.’s oil embargo against Russia.

He also said that Hungary is ready to support the new sanctions package if the state receives energy security guarantees.
